Provider Benefits
In an effort to enhance our recruitment of potential providers to the Ped-I-Care network, the following benefits are available to our providers upon request:
Courtesy Faculty Appointments - All Ped-I-Care providers are invited to become courtesy faculty members of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida.
The benefits of a courtesy faculty appointment include:
• Formal UF Affiliation: Affiliation with the University of Florida as an Assistant Professor, Department of Pediatrics, University of Florida College of Medicine which can be noted on one's curriculum vitae.
• Continuing Medical Education (CME): As a Courtesy faculty member, one may attend regularly scheduled Pediatrics Grand Rounds and receive CME credit. You may also inquire about any additional workshops or lectures that are available for CME credits.
• UF Health Science Center's online resources: Courtesy faculty members have access to online research resources available through the Health Science Center Libraries.
• Invitations to lectures and other College of Medicine events.
• Gator One Card: Courtesy faculty members are entitled to receive a University of Florida Gator One ID Card. Gator One ID Cards give access to various campus functions and the use of certain facilities including campus medical and research libraries and campus recreational and fitness facilities. • Parking Decal: A UF parking decal will enable owner to park free on many areas of campus.
